Brain coral gets its name for its strange resemblance to my favorite organ, but in many ways, this title isn’t giving the organisms enough credit for their beauty. While you may have a beautiful mind, it’s nothing compared to these gorgeous specimens.
I know I’ve posted my share of absolutely hideous wedding dresses and tuxedos, but Color & Design Blog has a refreshing look at off-beat wedding dresses that are attractive, fun and not the least bit tacky. It’s nice to see that some people still have taste.
There has always been something downright terrible about seeing a young girl dolled up with a spray tan, adult hair style, sexy clothing and whorish makeup. That’s what makes beauty pageants so disturbing. Photographer Susan Anderson has collected a great gallery of these images which can be viewed in brief on her website or in her book, High Glitz. Pink Tentacle has some great images from artist Ryohei Hase. The digital artist’s work mainly focuses around bizzare human/animal interactions. As I like to classify my favorite art as “demented bunny rabbits,” I, of course, love them. Check out his gallery (NSFW).
