After sitting submerged in up to 8 feet of water courtesy of Hurricane Katrina, Six Flags New Orleans is rotting and rusting its way back to nature. And the pictures of the park’s present state are simply stunning.

I’m a little obsessed with these buildings & places that have been forgotten about. Maybe I’m just trying to push my inner urban explorer to check out the abandoned psychiatric facility and the crumbling amusement park around my neck of the woods.
