It’s hard to believe, but the San Diego Comic Con has already came and went. If you didn’t get to make it to the event, one of the best things you missed were all the cosplays. Here are some of the best from this year’s convention and if this isn’t enough to satisfy you, don’t miss our list of the sexiest cosplays from this year, my articles on Geek Native featuring the best mashups and the best genderswaps, my Neatorama articles detailing some of the greatest cosplay and coolest tattoos at the con, or my articles on Oddee that reveal what cosplayers do for a living and show a few of the hilarious intentionally bad costumes at the SDCC.
Comics:
This cool mummy spaceman is a creation of CosmicMoustacheComics.com
And this awesome-looking group is from Looking Glass Wars
These two are elves but where are they from specifically? Thanks to Crysred for explaining that these two are Betty the Smidgen and Voilet from Rat Queens.
Cartoons:
Thanks to Crysred for explaining that this is the Forest Animal from Princess Mononoke.
Thank you Sasha for explaining that this is Madoka from Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
Gaming:
This cute ball of yellow is a mascot for NetMarble.comOI!
I’ve seen a lot of Marios at the con, but never a light up one. This one was created by Mr Lumafi
Battle Kasters was holding a big scavenger hunt around the convention and this was their mascot.
I think these three were trying to get a hashtag started, but it doesn’t seem to have gone very far.
Movies:
Television:
Other:
All hail Mookoo the Troll Queen!
Disasterina from Cold Sluts on Fire was looking tragic as usual.
Weird Pairings:
Unknown:
The girl on the right is Daenerys, but who is the other?
Obviously the Predator is on the left, but who is the girl on the right.
I assume these are just weird takes on Star Wars costumes, but if they’re from something specific, let me know.
I know the girl in the front is Maleficent, but who are the rest of these characters?
An evil scientist with a drill through his gut who is breaking a puppy’s neck. Any ideas?
Sif is on the right, but who is the warrior on the side?
Again, thank you Sasha for recognizing Doll, from Black Butler: Book of Circus. But I still need help identifying the girl in black.
Merida from Brave is in the middle, but who are the other characters?
He is obviously a merman, but is he from somewhere specific?

Girl next to Predator appears to be Miaka from Fushigi Yuugi… Girl with silver hair and elaborate white gown could be Belldandy from Ah! Megami-sama (aka Oh My Goddess!)

The “Two Elves” are from Rat Queens (Betty the Smidgen on the left, and Violet a mage) , and the deer looking girl is the Forest Spirit from Princess Mononoke!
The girl with the pink hair, and pink and white dress, and the bow is Madoka from the anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica. The girl in the white dress, the short one, with a white and black stocking and the parasol (next to the girl dressed in black) is Doll, from Black Butler: Book of Circus (or circus arc).
Nope Wrong again, thats Betty the smidgen and Hannah from Rat Queens
